Abstract

The Namar village have waters potential that are rich in potential fish resources both pelagic and demersal types. One of the suppliers of pelagic and demersal fish production at the Langgur fish market is catching by fishermen from Namar Village. This marine resources has not been well utilized by fishermen from the Namar village and Selayar sub-village. The expertise has been possessed by fishermen because their hereditary culture of fishing activities but is not covered by the very simple fishing gear and sea transportation. The partners in this activities are fishermen, with the catches obtained are very small and when the bad weather, the partners do not dare to go out to sea. The production management and accounting system of a fishing business has not been well managed. The methods of applying science and technology used to solve partner problems are counseling, training and mentoring methods. The application of this method is carried out jointly and continuously while actively involving partners in each stage of the activity. The purpose of this program is to make partners as entrepreneurs who are able to manage their capture fisheries by providing appropriate fishing facilities so as to increase the welfare of fishermen
